On Monday, December 15, 2025, the House of Representatives passed two measures under a suspension of the rules. H.R. 3187, which directs the Secretary of Agriculture to convey Forest Service property to Perry County, Arkansas, passed 388-0. S. 284, the Congressional Award Program Reauthorization Act, passed 370-22 with a party breakdown of 194-0 among Democrats and 176-22 among Republicans. In the Senate, a cloture motion on S. 1071, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026, was agreed to 76-20. The Senate vote included 27 Democrats and 48 Republicans in favor.
