Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to ten minutes each.

At approximately 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #833, Walter Clayton, of New York, to be Director of National Intelligence.

During Thursday’s session, Senator Thune filed cloture on the motion to proceed to Calendar #454, H.R.5334, vehicle for Sanctions legislation.
