Calendar

On Thursday, August 13, 2026, Congress remained in a formal recess period with no legislative activity occurring on the House or Senate floors. No committee hearings were scheduled for the day, and no votes were held on any pending legislation or procedural motions. Despite the recess, several individuals remain on the Executive Calendar for future consideration. These include Matthew R. Byrne, nominated to be a United States District Judge for the Southern District of Ohio; Austin D. Roberts, for promotion to Lieutenant Colonel; and Leslie Becera, to serve as Assistant Secretary of Transportation.
