Stephanie Bice was born in Oklahoma City and graduated from Putnam City High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in marketing with a minor in international business from Oklahoma State University. Before entering politics, she spent eight years working in financial oversight and business strategy for her family's technology company and later served as a vice president for a digital marketing agency.
Political career
Stephanie Bice began her career in public office representing the 22nd district in the Oklahoma Senate from 2014 to 2020. A member of the Republican Party, she was first sworn in as the U.S. representative for Oklahoma's 5th congressional district in 2021. She is the first American of Iranian and Pakistani descent to be elected to Congress.
