Background
Elijah Crane was born on January 3, 1980, and attended college before joining the United States Navy one week after the September 11 attacks. He served in the Navy from 2001 to 2014, which included five deployments and service as a Navy SEAL. Following his military career, he and his wife co-founded Bottle Breacher, a company featured on the television show Shark Tank that manufactured bottle openers from bullet casings.
Political career
Elijah Crane entered politics after serving in the United States Navy from 2001 to 2014 and co-founding a manufacturing company. A member of the Republican Party, he was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2022 after defeating the incumbent. He has served as the representative for Arizona's 2nd congressional district since 2023 and won re-election to the seat in 2024.
