Political career
Mike Kennedy began his legislative career in the Utah House of Representatives, where he served from 2013 to 2019, followed by service in the Utah Senate from 2021 to 2025. After an unsuccessful 2018 bid for the U.S. Senate, he won the Republican nomination for Utah’s 3rd congressional district in 2024. He was sworn into the U.S. House of Representatives in 2025.
