Background
Rick Larsen was born and raised in Arlington, Washington, where he attended Arlington High School. He graduated from Pacific Lutheran University and later earned a master's degree in public affairs from the University of Minnesota. Before entering politics, Larsen worked as a lobbyist for the dental profession and served as the director of public affairs for the Washington State Dental Association.
